If you have earned credits to promote something in a Traffic Exchange, the next question that comes is “what do I promote now?” Some will promote a PTC System or a Traffic Exchange. But here is where Affiliate marketing comes into play.
What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is the process of earning a commission by promoting other people’s (or company’s) products. You find a product you like, promote it to others, and earn a piece of the profit for each sale that you make.
When you are promoting a PTC System or a Traffic Exchange, you are participating in affiliate marketing. But you can also promote products with your credits.
And where can I find products to promote? Enter ClickBank
What is ClickBank?
ClickBank is the largest marketplace of affiliate products. If you have a product to sell, you can simply take it to ClickBank. And if you are an Internet Marketer, which you are as you are investing your time on both earning credits and learning about it, you can browse ClickBank for thousands of products which you can then promote and get paid a comission everytime a sale or a subscription is paid.
It aims to serve as a connection between digital content creators (also known as vendors) and affiliate marketers, who then promote them to consumers.
Working with ClickBank and PTC Systems or Traffic Exchanges
I could write endlessly about strategies to work with ClickBank, but it is beyond the scope of this site which is mostly about PTC Systems and apparently also Traffic Exchanges, but here are some things to have into consideration:
You can not sell every type of product from ClickBank in a Traffic Exchange or a PTC System.
Every product has a potential market. You need to think about what is the people seeing the product(s) that you are promoting looking for. In some cases blogs are good promotional tools, in others social media, and of course in some cases a PTC System or a Traffic Exchange are good choices.
Numbers, numbers, numbers
It is a competitive market, to reach the right person with the right product some times comes down to numbers, many will not be interested in something, but every failure to sell gets you closer to the sale.
Trial and Error
Some people gets lucky and they get the right product at the first try, but for those of us who were not seasoned in fairy dust, we try, and we fail sometimes; but we learn, we rinse and repeat. It is not the flick of a switch, it is a process to get from where we are to where we want to be.
Final Notes
ClickBank is a Network that has moved billions in it’s 17 years of existence and that process tens of thousands of transactions everyday. If you have some credits and you don’t know what to do with them, you can get behind a product and learn how to sell it. Most products have their own landing page available for you to simple put inside, but it is a much better strategy to learn how to create your landing or splash pages, how to create your banners, and just keep learning. I will do my best to help.
